My Work
This is, I guess you could say, my portfolio. I will (I’ll kick myself in the ass to…) add more stuff that I’ve done, whether they are drawings, photography, graphics, site developments, etc. Click image to view larger image.
Site Development
| Temple Sinai of Glendale (Pro Motion Communications) Temple Sinai is a Jewish temple in Glendale, California. The site contains information about the temple, displays upcoming events using Google Calendar, brings the community together through a customizable open source social network platform called Ning, and much more. For this site, I designed the look and implemented the design through CSS/HTML in WordPress. I also configured the drop down navigation with Superfish. Because there are browsers other than FireFox, I had to troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues mainly because of positioning. |
| BudzList (Pro Motion Communications) Of course everyone knows the marijuana leaf. BudzList is a social network site where people come together that has one main thing in common: marijuana. Whether you are a pothead or using medical pot then come and join if you want to meet more people. You could upload images and videos, send messages, chat with people who are online, post events, and more. I designed the look and feel of the network. The one color I have to use is GREEN! I implemented the design with CSS/HTML. I did very light PHP work I always do cross-browser checkings because of positioning of elements of the site. |
| CAS-IP (Pro Motion Communications) “CAS-IP assists, supports, facilitates, and secures access to intellectual assets as public goods.” The site explains what CAS-IP does, their resources, researches, projects, and more. I designed the site, using greens and yellows to give an earthy vibe because of the focus on agriculture. I implemented the design in WordPress. I created a simple fluid flash header for the homepage, with fading images and a static final image. I researched for appropriate photos to use for the headers of different categories with permissions from the owner of the photo. Again, browser compatibility issues due to positioning of elements and PNG transparency fixes. |
| AdStar (Pro Motion Communications) “AdStar provides publishers with a full suite of ad management services, driving the advertising value chain across multiple media channels - print, online, and mobile.” I took my coworker’s design and coded it from scratching using CSS and HTML. The drop down menu is CSS with light javawork for the menu to work in IExplorer 6. Fixed the menu in order for it to overlap with the flash header. I troubleshot cross-compatibility issues due to positioning of objects and PNG transparency fixes. |
