So today was our 17th month, and my boyfriend decided to take me to Lake Balboa to feed the ducks (something that I’ve been wanting to do). We’ve been have our downs lately this past week. But after spending time with him today, and just him, even for 2 hours, made everything better. These kind of moments doesn’t happen often because of our busy schedule. Sometimes it’s hard to squish our alone time in there somewhere. Time is all I really ask for, and today I got what I wanted

I really enjoy going to Lake Balboa, which is a man made lake by the way. It’s nice to go there for walks, feeding ducks, BBQ, and more. It’s usually busy during the weekends because a lot of people celebrate birthdays there. The lake is one of my ideal places to go to on a Sunday for an hour or two. It a place where I could clear my mind. And it really did clear my mind today.

I’m so glad today’s weather was clear and sunny. It was a little windy, but it wasn’t as cold as how it has usually been for these couple of weeks. So many ducks were out to play and EAT! I got to feed and take pictures of ducks and geese.

The picture of the duck to the left is one of my favorite (accidental) pictures I took. I was feeding three ducks and taking pictures of them simultaneously. They were so close to my feet. I was surprised they weren’t scared of me. I’m pretty small anyways so who (or what) wouldn’t be scared of me. I put my camera close to one of the ducks, and the duck pecked at my camera while I pressed the snap button. Good job duckie!

After we walked around the lake, which was a pretty long walk, we decided to sit down on a bench and just watch what is going on around the lake: the people, animals, and toy boat races. I felt relaxed and best of all happy because I’m in my honey’s arms while watching the serene environment.

I hope we get to go on another outing like this soon. I like going to places and taking pictures of whatever I can with my digital camera. But the main reason why is because I love sharing moments like this with my love
