During the weekend I wasn’t home much. I didn’t really touch my laptop that much during the weekend so I didn’t have time to update. Recall from my last post, The Last Lecture, I actually finished reading the book on July 4. I loved every part of it. During my 4th I ended up going to my sweetie’s cousin’s place for a BBQ. She let me borrow three books that I actually wanted to read, The Life of Pi, The Alchemist, and Angels and Demons. I started reading The Alchemist at her BBQ while I was just resting (from playing Rock Band and eating too much). I ended up finishing the book yesterday. It isn’t that long either. But it’s a good book. I don’t want to give out the details in case any of you end up reading it, but what stood out to me most is the idea of your Personal Legend.
“whoever you are, or whatever it is that you do, when you really want something, it’s because that desire originated in the soul of the universe. It’s your mission on earth. . .And when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
That’s what your personal legend is. Follow it. If you want to do something, and you feel that’s what you should do. Go for it, no one is stopping you but yourself.
Since I finished The Alchemist I started reading Angels and Demons. It’ll take me longer to get through this book since it’s big and I can’t really put it in my bag since there’s so much shit in it. I think I’ll enjoy Angels and Demons because I really enjoyed The Da Vinci Code. So whenever I go out, I bring The Life of Pi with me. I’ll give updates on these books.
I’m going to the Dodger game today!! It’s my first sports event so I’m pretty darn excited.

I don’t know.
I’m so picky about books. I like to read something worth my time, something that’ll really make my brain work. I actually enjoyed Harry Potter. I liked that everything was intertwined and carefully woven together. I also liked that basically none of it could ever happen. I like reading good fiction novels.
Ehh ..I’ll wait for more reviews from you so I can get my hands on a good book [ :

i’m yet to get my hands on a book. lately it’s just me spending time looking for a job and whatnot. but once i get the chance to i’ll go ahead and pick up the books your reading kind of like a book review
