So I’ve been playing Guitar Hero World Tour every now and then. Rooftops is one of the songs my little sister loves to sing to, and it’s one of the songs that has caught my attention because of the meaningful lyrics.

In the chorus it says “Everybody scream your hearts out.” That is the best way to live life, by following your heart, not by what society says, not by prejudice, but by how your own heart really feels. That’s how you leave your mark. People get so busy with everything that has been going on around them, but they don’t seem to stop and just take a breath. They really let life pass them by.

As long as you are happy with your life, and you live it with no regrets, and you do everything because you believe in it, then you have lived your life. You have lived within the moment.

..That’s what I would like you to do.. stop and take a breath. Let me enjoy your life with you as you enjoy mine with me. I don’t want to wait until later, where I don’t even know if you will still be there with me.

Nothing new has been happening. My life is still the same routine. But here and there my day goes differently than it would normally happen. Like for instance, yesterday. I decided to volunteer to go on a hiking field trip with my little sister at the Santa Monica Mountains. It was the perfect day to go hiking. I really enjoyed just being out along with nature hiking with my sister. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Hiking trips its one of my favorite things to do, but I don’t get to do it very often because I have no one really to go with. And it’s something out of the ordinary. I hope I get to go hiking again somewhere so I could get away for a bit and share the moment with someone I really care about.

I’m honestly getting bored.. I envy couples that goes out and have fun together, even if its going on hiking trips, walking on the beach, going to the park to play frisbee, catch, having a little picnic. You know, spending time and doing something different from time to time. I told you that we could go hiking at the trail I went to. You didn’t sound to enthusiastic about it. I told you I wanted to go to the beach, but you didn’t say anything but “Okay” instead of telling me that you will take me there soon.  The things I want to do with you aren’t even expensive. It’s cheaper than taking me to dinner and movies. *sigh.
