Could I just tell you, I really love the design concept and work of N Design Studio. The designer of this site is pretty damn talented and giving. What I mean by giving is that he isn’t stingy with what he knows about design. If people ask him how did he do this, he will go and write a tutorial about it. That is the kind of designer that I like, a sharing designer. So I’m on his site at work and I’m reading his blogs, one of his excerpts is about a site that he came across called FreeRice.com. I really like this site because it helps the visitors expand their vocabulary and at the same time it helps aid world hunger. For every word you get right, 20 grains of rice is donated by the sponsors to help people who live in poverty.  I think this is a creative idea. I already donated 2000 grains of rice. If you want to help out, why don’t you see how good your vocabulary is.

So I was just thinking, and this is totally random by the way, this past Friday before my usual bowling league, while I was leaving from Bounce, this boba place, I’m turning right out from a parking lot and this guy is giving way for me. And I see his little boy in the truck and the little boy is smiling and waving hi at me. That pretty much made my Friday. And yes, it’s as simple as a little kid waving and smiling at me that gets me going. It’s their innocence that makes me smile, because they don’t know anything and they don’t have to worry about anything. There are so many times where I feel I just want to be a child again, not knowing how it feels to take on responsibilities and thinking how to get through life. They don’t know what it feels to get hurt except by having a wound on their leg. The only thing that a child and I have in common is that we both haven’t seen the world yet.

On another note, Lauren, one of my affies, read the poem from my last entry and suggested a poem about love that is found in the Bible, none other than 1 Corinthians 13:4-7:

“Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered.
It keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
always preserves.”

This is one of my favorite poems about love. It’s so beautiful. I think it describes love perfectly because that how I feel love should be.

So here I am at work. No one’s at the office. I’m pretty bored. It’s noon. Ill be off for lunch an in an hour. I want to be off for the rest of the day. Won’t happen. I’m hungry so I can’t wait till I get off for lunch. Dad cooked. Yum. I can’t wait till later because I get to see my love.

So a lot has been going on with me internally, where you won’t know unless I choose to tell you. It’s biting my head. But I vented enough last night so it took off the weight.

Anyways, I’ll update later. Look out for twitter because I might not even touch a computer once I get off work.

[EDIT]
Here’s a poem, that I could relate to, that I came across written by Juice called “Out of All The..”

out of all the guys
that exist in the world today
why were you the one
who took my heart away?

out of all the lips
that have kissed mine
why was yours the one
that gave chills down my spine?

out of all the words
that have been spoken to me
why were yours the one
which filled my heart with glee?

out of all the eyes
that have looked my way
why did yours seem
to have everything to say?

out of all the hearts
that beat right now
why is mine
beating for you somehow?
